As an industrial designer I have a strong appreciation for products that are designed for a cause. I believe we have a responsibility for the objects we bring into this world and we should strive to make them as well resolved as possible.
After graduating from Massey university in 2015 with a bachelor of Industrial Design (First class honors) I began working as a junior designer and digital fabricator for Human Dynamo Workshop in Wellington, New Zealand. I have been working there since and have developed a considerable understanding of design for fabrication and I am constantly being challenged with new design problems which require a different way of thinking.
My project DR.POW was awarded a Red Dot Design concept award, gained a Silver at the New Zealand Best awards and was national runner up in the James Dyson Awards. DR.POW is going to be exhibited in the upcoming Global Grad Show held in Dubai on November during Dubai Design Week.
